Expression of Interest are invited for Study of the Impact of Mining on the Health of Local Residents and Analysis of Sources of Pollution Mission objective: The main objective of the mission is to assess the existential and potential health effects of mining activity. Specifically, these are: Exhaustively identify the health effects related to mining activity; document the health effects of mining activities in the mining area studied. characterize the management of waste produced in gold panning sites; collect social and environmental data as part of the environmental studies carried out during the exploration and exploitation phases; analyze the data from epidemiological studies and the predominant and recurrent pathologies; establishing a causal link between the pathologies observed in the field and mining activity, estimating the impact of mining activity and evaluating working conditions; develop and implement a geobiological prevention and monitoring program to mitigate health effects due to radiation and heavy metals; Train administrative staff.
